Founded in 1896 as the Norwegian Old People’s Home, Norwood Crossing Association has evolved into a modern, not-for-profit senior living organization based on Chicago’s Northwest Side. While grounded in a rich history, the organization is actively positioning itself for the future, with plans to broaden its scope through new ventures, partnerships, and expanded operations.

Today, Norwood Life Society operates as a 501(c)(3) parent organization with four subsidiary organizations, including a 501(c)(3) Foundation
